Assessment, Reporting and Recording

Assessment is an integral part of our curriculum intent planning and is interdependent with the teaching and learning implementation. It plays a fundamental role in driving improvement in progress and attainment levels for our students. We believe that effective assessment provides information for teachers to adapt teaching and learning, make appropriate provision and ensures appropriate progress is made. Feedback to students on their learning is regular and consistent, so each student understands what they need to do to improve, maximise their potential and together, achieve their best.
