Culture Day - Summer 2024
Students embraced culture day with a variety of dress celebrating the diverse nature of our community.
What a spectacular day it was on 12th July when students swapped their blazers and arrived to school in a blaze of colour with a donation for a variety of charitable causes, including Save the Children and The Samaritans.
One of our Sixth Form art students took the opportunity to practice her photography, taking portrait shots of willing volunteers.
The atmosphere in school was cheerful and the energy vibrant as students compared outfits, sampled international cuisine and some experienced the art of henna having ornately patterned 'tattoos'.
The event raised awareness of many different countries and cultures as well as over £1200!
