Year 13

Welcome to Year 13 at Barnhill Community High School. My name is Miss Thomas and I am the Head of Year 13. Year 13 is an exciting time for all our students; it is not only the year where students become true experts in their chosen subjects, but also the time when they decide on their future steps beyond Barnhill. Last year, 94% of Barnhill's students went to university, which shows the success of the Sixth Form and we want all of our students to have high aspiration and follow in these footsteps. 

 

Our Year 13s are at the pinnacle of the Barnhill community, and so we want our students to be role models for younger students. We therefore ask for the highest standards of behaviour, including impeccable corridor and classroom conduct and for students to show appropriate professionalism and pride in their dress. In return, we will ensure all students feel safe and well supported in what will be a very challenging year.
