Orchestrating Music Studies

Year 10 Music students travelled to the Royal Festival Hall, one of the worlds best venues for classical music, this half-term.
On the trip, they were treated to performances of the music they are studying in lessons, performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The opportunity to see real live orchestral music is something that not many people take advantage of despite the very low cost of tickets and casual nature of the evening (there really is no need to "dress up" for it). We were therefore delighted to share this with students, which for many was their first experience of this type of event.
Students were amazed by the sound of the orchestra and the venue itself.
