Love Yeading Church Fete

Barnhill's music department was delighted to be invited to perform at the annual summer fair hosted by St Edmund’s church. The students rehearsed tirelessly to prepare to display their talent and entertain the audience.  There was much anticipation and excitement among the young performers and Mr C Jones, music teacher.  

As the students took to the grassy stage, the crowd gathered to listen - there was something for everyone in the set of mixed musical genre. 

Mr C Jones and Mina (Year 10) performed 2 songs:

Wish You Were Gay by Billie Eilish and Blue Jeans by Lana Del Ray. 

Shanika & Arjun (Year 9) performed Speechless by Naomi Scott and Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez. 

Arjun also had three solo performances including Merry-Go-Round-Of-Life by Joe Hisashi, Hotline Bling by Billie Eilish, and Unravel by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure. 

The audience were thrilled to have been entertained by students from many different schools and hoping for an encore next year.
